About the Schools
Beecher Road School, Woodbridge, Connecticut, USA
Beecher Road School is an elementary school with about 855 students in PreKindergarten through Grade 6. The school has a long history of creativity and innovation.
In November 2007, Dr. Guy Stella, Superintendent of Schools, travelled to China to establish a sister school relationship. From that trip has grown a relationship that has expanded to include two sister schools.

In April 2008, Nancy White, Grade 6 Teacher, visited the sister school in Heze, Shandong, China, further developing the working relationship between the schools.

In January 2009, Beecher Road School was honored by two visitors: Mr. Zeng Guangguo, Principal of the Shandong Heze Experimental Primary School and Mr. Guo Zhenhu, Principal of the Shoutian Yingcai Primary School of Binzhou, Shandong, China. During this visit, Mr. James Crawford and Mr. Rick Wood were invited to visit these two sister schools to establish digital communications among the teachers and students of the three schools.
